Humboldt Lofts
Vintage lofts & contemporary condosSandwiched between Mill City Museum and the Guthrie Theater is Humboldt Lofts — a unique hybrid of old and new architecture.
This 36-unit complex bridges two distinct structures — the classic brick and timber shell of the original Humboldt Mill and the modern concrete, steel and glass of the new Humboldt Annex. The result is a diverse collection of vintage lofts and contemporary condos.
Already located in one of the most vibrant cultural scenes in Minneapolis, Humboldt Lofts also provides opportunity for entertainment onsite. Building perks include a rooftop deck, community room and ground floor restaurant.
May through October, residents at Humboldt Lofts can find locally-grown, organic fare just steps from their front door at the Mill City Farmer’s Market. Every Saturday morning this neighborhood hotspot hosts a wide selection of fresh produce, cheese, flowers, honey and more.
Humboldt Lofts is housed in the historic Humboldt Mill — part of the original Washburn-Crosby Flour Milling Complex and eventual birthplace of General Mills. The current design incorporates features from the original 1878 design with new construction.
